The date is set!

We have our c-section scheduled for next week. We weren't originally planning to have a c-section (I was actually looking to avoid one at all costs), but unfortunately the baby is sitting like this inside me:



The literature on c-section deliveries for breech babies is a mixed bag. But, I trust my doctor and I know he (the baby) will be fine. Apparently my doctor participated in a clinical trial of breech births during med school, and has delivered more of them than your average doctor. He recommends a cesarean birth, especially with this type of breech presentation.

Oh well. Maybe next time I'll have a more cooperative baby?
